Rural Ministries Regional Conference 2020

The rural church makes up around two-thirds of Church of England parishes and churches, which coupled with the 4,000 churches of other denominations in rural areas, suggests that there is a country church for every 650 people. Many view the rural church as small and inconsequential, and yet is inescapable that 50 churches of 20 can make more of an impact on a region than one church of 1,000. Where there are still more rural churches than country pubs, how might we strategically maximise this incredible opportunity for the sake of the Kingdom?

In this regional conference you can explore how exponential growth through a focus of making disciples who make disciples, who in turn make disciples, can be seen where you are. Come and be part of the conversation that will be taking place up and down the UK, and together see how to positively impact those around us.

The four sessions are:

  • Going back to basics is simple, but not easy
  • How to mobilise your church regardless of its size
  • Share our lives as well as our faith – a model for disciple making groups
  • From knowledge to obedience – putting it all into action

Who should attend?
These events are for clergy, leaders, members of churches and anyone with a heart for mission in their communities.
